UHF algebras form a class of particularly accessible AF algebras. In this talk, first, we will prove the classification theorem of UHF algebras and derive that UHF algebras are simple, then we will talk about CAR algebras and prove that they are actually $2^\infty$ UHF algebras, and finally we will introduce a special kind of CAR algebra: GICAR algebra, and some of its properties will be discussed.
