Hermann Nicolai "Applications of Kac-Moody algebras in gravity and supergravity theories"

Hermann Nicolai (Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, Albert-Einstein-Institut) will give a series of four lectures on applications of Kac-Moody algebras in gravity and supergravity theories. The lectures will be held at 17:00 at the HSE Mathematics Departament on September 10 in the room 1001 and on September 11, 12 and 15 in the room 311.

1. Space-like singularities and cosmological billiards: a new look at the Belinsky-Khalatnikov-Lifshitz (BKL) paradigm (two lectures)
2. From BKL to hyperbolic Kac-Moody algebras (one lecture)
3. Incorporation of fermions: E10 and K(E10) (one lecture)
