Conference "Contemporary mathematics" in honor of 80th birthday of V.I. Arnold

National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow Mathematical Society, Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Steklov Mathematical Institute RAS, Kharkevich Institute of Information Transmission Problems and Independent University of Moscow organize the Conference Contemporary mathematics marking the 80th birthday of Vladimir Arnold (1937-2010).
The Conference will take place in December 18-23, 2017 in Moscow, Russia. The Conference will cover such subjects as Singularity theory, Topology, Differential equations and Dynamical systems, Mathematical Physics, Representation theory, Algebraic geometry, which fall into the domain of interest of Vladimir Arnold. There will be around 20 plenary speakers and around 40 sectional speakers. Financial support for invited speakers and young participants is expected.
The Scientific Committee of the Conference consists of Askold Khovanskii (University of Toronto, Chair), Norbert A’Campo (University of Basel), Wolfgang Ebeling (Leibniz Universitat Hannover), David Eisenbud (Mathematical Science Research Institute), Alexander Givental (University of California, Berkeley), Sabir Gusein-Zade (Moscow State University), Igor Krichever (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Columbia University, Higher School of Economics), Ignacio Luengo (Complutense University of Madrid), Alexander Varchenko (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Victor Vassiliev(Steklov Mathematical Institute RAS and Higher School of Economics).
The Organizing Committee of the Conference includes Sergei Lando (Higher School of Economics and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Chair), Alexei Davydov (Vladimir State University), Evgeny Feigin (Higher School of Economics and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology),  Sergei Tabachnikov(Pennsylvania State University), Vladlen Timorin(Higher School of Economics), Victor Vassiliev(Steklov Mathematical Institute RAS and Higher School of Economics).
