"K3 surfaces have been extensively studied during the last decades of the previouscentury. The techniques used to understand their geometry include Hodge theory, lattice theory and homological algebra. One of the landmarks in the theory of K3 surfaces is the global Torelli theorem, asserting that two K3 surfaces areisomorphic if and only if they have isomorphic periods. There is also a derived version of the globalTorelli theorem proved by Mukai and Orlov. In this course we will discuss the global Torelli theorem as well as its derived version. "
